Billy began his 30 years of locksmithing as an apprentice to lockmasters in New York, where he received his license. He moved to the Caribbean and eventually made his way to the South.

In New York, a license requires over a year of apprenticeship, and that’s just the beginning. The locksmithing profession requires continuous training year after year.

Locksmithing is an art. It’s not about breaking; it’s about fixing.

In South Carolina, no locksmith license is required. However, at ASAP, we hold ourselves to a high standard of trust. All our employees undergo an extensive background check, including a polygraph, and are required to sign a confidentiality clause for our customers' privacy.

Having a trustworthy locksmith really does matter. Not just anyone can do it.
